Pulled into Beaufort Docks yesterday. Arrived a little early than we planned so the current was still running swiftly. Not too much problem getting into the slip though, but definitely a spirited docking exercise!  They have excellent dock hands here 🙂

The trip down was all motoring, mostly canals, and a good 15+ wind on the nose. So even though the temperatures were warm, it was a cool ride, and we enjoyed the scenery.  Beaufort has a tropical feel to it. We were here two years ago on Lio Kia, and loved it then, and love it even more now that we’ve been able to explore the town a little more. Plan to do some more exploring today before heading to the Backstreet Pub for “Hoot Night”, and where dogs are welcome!
