Still hanging at the Beaufort Docks.  Waiting on UPS to deliver. The expected noon delivery time has come and gone.

We have  enjoyed the time here … Despite the hot weather.  Took the dink over to Bird Shoal yesterday and enjoyed some beach time. Water was beautiful (almost Caribbean blue).

Had some water friends join me on my kayak trip one night.

Kayak trip down Taylor’s Creek today, and some hiking on the Rachel Carson Reserve.

Lots of derelict boats in the anchorage, but this one was nice!

5:30 a.m. Wake up when this boat neighbor left the dock with full crew on deck.

Itching to to get away from the dock ourselves, and over to Cape Lookout.
