We forgot to mention the new anchor sentinel.

After purchasing it in Morehead City, we first used it in Mile Hammock Bay. Not that we needed it there as there was no current, but we wanted to try it out. It’s a 15 pound sentinel. After setting the anchor, the captain went to send the sentinel down the anchor rode. Oops, the clip holding the sentinel to its line dropped the line and the sentinel went down without its retrieval line attached!

It was another moment for the Dammit Doll we had bought in Swansboro.

So, we had to pull the anchor up to retrieve the sentinel.  Not a big deal.

We used it next in Wrightsville Beach, and it worked like a charm.

And, we have not had to use the Dammit Doll again (yet :-)).
