Boats and Beers and Alligators, OH MY!

Georgetown, SC is a great stop.  We were tied up on the inside of the face dock at Georgetown Landing Marina, which is on the Pee Dee River side of the town.

We came in for the Wooden Boat Show, which proved to be a fun event. Some very cool wooden boats, and lots of other festival fun.

Very dog friendly town!  Lots of sidewalk and harbor front restaurants and bars where pooches are welcome.  Even a doggie water bowl fountain.

Some shop owners even chased us down to come in and visit with their pets.

We are in Charleston now.  Been here 3 days now, and headed out in the morning encounter to Beaufort (that’s Bew-fert), SC.
